2021 Volkswagen Teramont X

Judging from the previous declaration, the appearance of SAIC Volkswagen’s new Touron X is not as big as that of Touron. The new car can be understood as an increase in sports kits, making its style more like an R-Line version. At the rear of the car, the new car still adopts a fastback body form, but the design is only re-optimized for the rear surround shape, and a total of four exhaust layouts are embedded on both sides.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new Tuang X are 4917/1989/1719mm, and the wheelbase is 2980mm. In addition, the new car will also be upgraded in terms of configuration, providing different configurations of the headlight group function, while the rim size will provide 17 inches, 18 inches, 20 inches and up to 21 inches of different styles of wheels.

2021 Volkswagen Teramont X will be equipped with Volkswagen’s EA888 engine with a maximum power of 220 horsepower. In terms of transmission, it will continue to be matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox.

As a five-seater sports version of the Touron, the Touron X is more brisk in front of the details. The middle grid, which is dominated by horizontal lines, is regular, with three chrome-plated trim strips running through the entire grille, and the volume of the headlight part is thinner (compared to Tuon). At the same time, there is an R mark representing sports at the bottom left of the middle grid. The surround of the front bumper adopts a shape similar to that of GTI, adding a sporty atmosphere.

The design concept of the rear part of the car also implements a certain degree of movement and simplicity. Under the relatively sloping tail window are separate taillights on both sides, and the lower part is connected by a thicker chrome trim. In addition to the four exhaust holes on both sides, the rear bumper is also embellished with black decorative elements, which echoes the black double five-spoke cyclone rim and black window frame trim.
