2021 Mazda CX-9

The Mazda CX-9 is the brand’s flagship three-row midsize crossover SUV, able to meet the practical needs of a family while still appealing to owner’s sense of style and driving enjoyment. For 2021, CX-9 receives upgrades to its technology and styling. New exterior designs are met by a high-class interior featuring new seat patterning and the largest infotainment display to be equipped on a CX-9. The new display runs the latest version of the Mazda Connect infotainment software. It has a connected interface that lets owners monitor and control the vehicle remotely, and the tech supports an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot. It can run Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, too.

The new CX-9 Carbon Edition slots between the Touring and Grand Touring trim levels. This grade gets a Polymetal Gray exterior with gloss black trim for the mirrors and grille, in addition to riding on 20-inch black wheels.

Moving inside, the Carbon Edition comes with red leather seats and black metallic trim for the dashboard, door panels, and handle bezels. Other amenities include an eight-way power driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, power-folding mirrors, and a power hatchback. In terms of safety, this grade comes standard with reverse braking assist and driver attention alert.
