The electric drive chain of DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE is composed of a 100 kW (136 hp) and 260 Nm electric motor, combined with a 50 kWh lithium-ion battery and an energy recovery system at deceleration and when braking. The autonomy is 320 km (WLTP cycle), or 430 km according to the NEDC cycle. Performance also revolutionizes driving, with acceleration from 0 to 50 km / h in just 3.3 seconds.

The autonomy is optimized by the possibility of pre-setting the temperature of the passenger compartment and of the battery before departure and by the presence of a heat pump with exceptional efficiency.

The 100 kW quick charge allows you to recharge 9 kilometers per minute and reach 80% charge in 30 minutes. To recharge the battery at home, the DS brand offers DS Smart Wallbox connected, with a three-phase version that allows a complete recharge in just 5 hours. Another single-phase charging version allows you to recharge the battery to 100% in 8 hours.
