2021 Ares Design Land Rover Defender Cabrio
Italian coachbuilder ARES Modena announced today that he will support the “LuisaViaRoma for UNICEF” charity gala, which will be held on Wednesday 29 December at Eden Rock in Saint Barth.
In support of the exclusive charity dinner, the Modenese atelier will donate to the organizers three personalized vehicles that will be the protagonists of the auction organized by them. Guests will thus be able to present their offers for the S1 Biposto, a special edition supercar expressly designed for the occasion, and an extraordinary kit that includes an ARES for Land Rover Defender Spec 1.5 Cabriolet and a coordinated ARES Scrambler for BMW R nineT.
Certainly successful among all admirers of beauty, speed and sporty driving, the ARES S1 Biposto will be characterized by an absolutely unique and bold design: rider and passenger are in fact wrapped in two transparent caps that extend up to the height of the seats, allowing thus the occupants to share the lower part of the passenger compartment while the communication inside is ensured by an intercom.
The one-off S1 Biposto shares the technical basis and engineering solutions of the S1 Project and is therefore powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine with direct injection, coupled to an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels.
Guests who prefer off-road driving to the thrill of speed will have the opportunity to win the ultimate whim for fans of the genre: a kit including the ARES Defender Spec 1.5 Cabriolet and the ARES Scrambler. Baptized as “the ultimate toys for grown-up boys”, this custom-made set will allow you to pursue the thrill of off-road experiences both behind the wheel and in the saddle, with the Land Rover Defender in its convertible version and a unique Scrambler motorcycle. of its kind.
The gala evening will also feature a special performance by Dua Lipa and will include a welcome cocktail, an exclusive dinner and a live auction of works of art, unique objects and personalized experiences. Funds raised during the event will support UNICEF in its humanitarian programs aimed at providing care and protection for children in vulnerable situations around the world. Despite the global challenges caused by the pandemic, UNICEF continues to fight every day for the rights of children in need, providing them with safe shelter, food and protection from conflict, natural disasters and inequalities.
