The new MY21 range by Stelvio also boasts brand new 21-inch alloy wheels that emphasize the dynamic qualities of the car thanks to a strong sporting connotation and expand the offer of the first SUV of the Italian brand. Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Veloce Ti
The acronym “Ti”, International Tourism, has always distinguished the richer models, with typically Italian elegance, while the words “Veloce” are reserved for the more performing versions.
The Veloce Ti trim level represents the model’s technical and motoring excellence. It combines the sportiness of Veloce with an even more captivating style. The rich standard equipment and the most advanced technology wink at the Quadrifoglio version with which Veloce Ti shares some elements of style both indoors and outdoors.
Its specific characterization is both aesthetic and functional, as evidenced for example by the new rear bumper with specific skid-plate, the body kit in body color and the aluminum automatic gearshift paddles integral with the steering column. Giulia Veloce Ti stands out for its specific bumpers, side skirts and spoilers in carbon. The new 21-inch five-hole alloy wheels with a burnished finish make their debut on the Stelvio Veloce, which will also be available on other trim levels. The interiors echo those of the Quadrifoglio versions with the sports seats in leather and Alcantara, the black imperial and the exclusive finishes in real carbon fiber. Dark tones also for the glass frame, the privacy glass, the “Stelvio” or “Giulia”, “Q4” and “Veloce Ti” identification badges.
Giulia and Stelvio Veloce Ti are equipped with the 280 HP 2.0 Turbo petrol engine or the 210 HP 2.2 Turbo Diesel engine, both combined with the 8-speed automatic transmission and Q4 all-wheel drive. The engines are 4-cylinder built entirely of aluminum, with the carbon propeller shaft.
Level 2 autonomous driving
A complete set of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features is available on Giulia and Stelvio, enabling cars to offer the highest level of autonomous driving in a perfect balance between driving pleasure and assistance systems. This is level 2, which by definition is reached when the driver can let his car control the accelerator, brake and steering under certain conditions, through electronic systems that require continuous monitoring by the driver but support him to offer him greater comfort on long journeys. The driver must in any case exercise continuous control by always keeping his hands on the steering wheel.

Below are the main enabling technologies on Giulia and Stelvio MY21:
Lane Keeping Assist: detects if the vehicle is leaving its lane without the direction indicator being activated and alerts the driver through visual and tactile signals. It actively intervenes by returning the vehicle to the lane.
Active Blind Spot Assist : monitors rear blind spots by signaling any approaching vehicles and applying a correction to the steering to avoid collision.
Active Cruise Control : Automatically adjusts vehicle speed to maintain a safe distance from vehicles in front. In cooperation with the traffic sign recognition system, it allows you to adjust the set speed in relation to the limits set, for a more comfortable ride.
Traffic Sign Recognition and Intelligent Speed Control: the system uses the on-board camera, recognizes road signs showing them on the display and alerts the driver of the current speed limit.
The system consequently suggests to the driver the adjustment of the speed to that detected by the system: if the driver accepts, the cruise control will be automatically set according to the new limits.
Traffic Jam Assist and Highway Assist : in addition to Active Cruise Control, these systems also supervise lateral driving, keeping the car in the center of the lane in heavy traffic conditions (Traffic Jam Assistant) or on the motorway (Highway Assist), also adjusting the speed according to the current limits.
Driver Attention Assist: constantly monitors the driver’s attention status and alerts him in case it is appropriate to take a break.
