As INFINITI prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary in November, much has changed in the world and the automotive landscape. Entering the 2020 model year, INFINITI continues its commitment to embracing innovation and pushing the limits of what’s possible in product design, innovative technologies and customer care. Looking further ahead into its fourth decade, INFINITI is redefining its product designs, technologies and customer experience for an electrified future.

One of the most notable developments for 2020 is INFINITI’s new-generation infotainment system. The HD twin-screen system, which keeps the name ‘INFINITI InTouch™’, will improve the driving experience and keep motorists better connected while on the road. The platform offers an array of new functionality, including standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™; in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot with connectivity for seven devices; and improved navigation with 3D maps, Street view imagery and Destinations by Google®. The new system will be available on 2020 Q50, Q60, QX50 and the flagship QX80 models.

2020 INFINITI QX80 – Available fall 2019

The flagship QX80 full-size luxury SUV offers a number of enhancements for the new model year, including revised ProPILOT Assist and Sensory package content, new IT system technology, available 17-speaker Bose® Performance Series Audio system, two new exterior colors and revised interior accent finisher availability. Also added are standard Rear Door Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Backup Collision Intervention and Blind Spot warning.

The 2020 QX80 joins the lineup receiving an infotainment update. The center stack will now feature the new-generation INFINITI InTouch system™ with HD dual-display 8-inch upper and 7-inch lower touchscreens with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, including Siri® and Google Voice®. The instrument cluster will also be refreshed with a new 7-inch color monitor.

The 2020 QX80 is offered in three models: the QX80 LUXE, QX80 LUXE 4WD and the QX80 LIMITED 4WD – which includes exclusive exterior and interior treatments such as dark, machine-finished 22-inch forged aluminum wheels; two-tone, quilted semi-aniline leather with Alcantara® seats, contrast piping and stitching; satin chrome exterior trim, roof rails and crossbars.
