2020 Baojun RC-5

2020 Baojun RC-5 is positioned as a compact car and adopts the “Interstellar Geometry” family design language, with outstanding overall recognition. Baojun RC-5 uses a large inverted trapezoidal front grille shape, and the interior is embellished with dotted chrome elements. With the brand LOGO of the central new Baojun, the car looks very high-end. At the same time, a similar through-type air inlet is adopted underneath it, with the exaggerated opening shape of the lamp group on both sides, so that the sense of movement is well improved.

the new car adopts a design that tends to be a fastback, and the slightly inclined rear side line is also more slender. A penetrating waist line is designed on the side, extending from the headlights to the tail, which is both mature and stable and youthful and dynamic. In terms of size, the length, width, and height are 4650/1806/1458 (1466) mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2700mm. It is positioned in a compact car.

For the rear, the new car adopts the very popular taillight group design, and adds a polyline element under it, which echoes the headlight group while further enriching its rear layering. At the same time, the central trapezoidal license plate installation position of the new car’s rear bumper adopts a wide trapezoidal design, with reflective strips on both sides, making the new car more attractive.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts an enveloping cockpit design and the central control design is biased toward the main driving side, with the simple lines of the center console, giving it a sense of hierarchy. At the same time, it uses a black + red color matching design style, and adds chrome elements in many places for embellishment, which not only increases the texture of the car but also enhances its youthful atmosphere. In terms of configuration, the new car will provide a dual-spoke multi-function steering wheel, full LCD instrumentation, and suspended central control LCD screen.

In terms of power, according to previous reports from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the car will be equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine of LAR and a 1.5T turbocharged engine of LJO, with maximum power of 99 horsepower (73 kW) and 147 horsepower (108 Kilowatts), the combined fuel consumption of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is 6.2L/100km.
