The new Lancia Ypsilon Black and Noir debuts for a sophisticated clientele that is increasingly attentive to style. The unprecedented special series of the leading model in Italy in the competitive segment B renews the urban and elegant attitude of the Fashion City Car through a seductive stylistic proposal that dresses the car as a suit suitable for any occasion. On the other hand, elegance has always been the dominant theme that has guided the evolutions of a model that celebrates a 34-year history and dotted with 34 special series. And after 34 years and almost three million units sold, Lancia Ypsilon has just recorded the best quarter of its history between January and April. For this new special series, Lancia designers have opted for an exclusive “double color” bodywork in glossy black, on the grille, tailgate and side panel, while the roof and the hood are dressed in an elegant matt black. The contrast and alchemy between matt black and glossy black give the new Ypsilon Black and Noir character and sensuality. Among the bright reflections of the two black points, the shiny and opaque Chevron motif of the upright stands out, on which appears a classic Ypsilon emblem: the Elephantine. This logo, which featured eight special Ypsilon series, takes a dip in the most classic elegance in the new Black and Noir.
This elegant ensemble is enhanced by the touch of the most classic of metals, gold, back in fashion and totally reinterpreted, in nuances and processes. For the Ypsilon Black and Noir, the satin Rose Gold light accent has been developed, a refined and distinctive signature that makes the new special series unmistakable. Outside, it embellishes the Ypsilon logo on the tailgate, the logos on the rims and the new Elefantino Rose Gold. The aesthetic choices are found in the welcoming, elegant and functional interior. Lancia has always anticipated the most current trends in terms of colors and materials. This is why the Chevron motif characterizes the upholstery in black and gray fabric, and the stitching that frames the Rose Gold seats such as the Ypsilon logo sewn on the front headrests. The car can be equipped with the 69 HP 1.2 Fire Evo II petrol engine, a reliable engine suitable for novice drivers thanks to its power / tare ratio of less than 55 kW / ton and maximum power of less than 70 kW. It is also available in the version with dual petrol and LPG fueling. The ecological 900 cm 3 natural gas 70 HP completes the range .

The new advertising campaign
The launch of the Ypsilon Black and Noir is supported by the new campaign which will be developed on TV, print, outdoor, radio and digital. The protagonist is a young woman, sitting in front of an elegant black grand piano on which a Rose Gold rose rests. The song he performs is a very exciting reinterpretation of “Paint it Black”, a great success for the Rolling Stones. As his hands play the notes, a black liquid filters through the keys until the keyboard turns all black opaque. After a detachment, the video shows the details first and then the total of the new Lancia Ypsilon Black and Noir with the black ink effect. The woman looks up at the score: now it too has become completely black. The execution continues: to suggest the right notes is the emotion, and black is the representation of his mood.
