- New are six striking two-tone liveries, embellished with the “Waze” badge and glossy black details on skid plate, door handles and mirror caps, in addition to two-tone 15-inch rims.
- The new Panda Waze confirms the integration of the famous Waze navigation app in the “Panda U-Connect” app.
New Panda Waze, the evolution of the most social city-car ever, is landing in Fiat showrooms.
The success of the first version particularly among young motorists already in its launch year is confirmed by its contribution to the 45% increase in European sales of the Cross interpretation of Panda.
Not by chance, Fiat Panda has been the best-selling city car in Europe for 15 years and the absolute best-selling car in Italy since 2012.
The new special edition is distinguished by the “Waze” badge on the front wings and a two-tone livery available for the first time. The black roof can be paired with the other colours in the palette, namely Gelato White, Giotto Blue, Sole Yellow, Moda Grey, Amore Red and metallic Colosseo Grey. Making a striking contrast with the exteriors, the car sports new glossy black accents on skid plate, door handles and mirror caps. The look is complemented by two-tone 15-inch wheels. Inside, on the other hand, the black fabric seats are set off by white and green stitching for a youthful and dynamic style.
One of the major new features is the introduction of the 85-HP TwinAir 0.9 engine, which paired with manual gearbox and front-wheel drive secures lively yet fuel-efficient performance in addition to a good level of comfort even at higher rpm at the same time. The line-up also features the 69-HP 1.2 petrol with manual gearbox and front-wheel drive and the 85-HP TwinAir 0.9 petrol with manual transmission and all-wheel drive.
The new Panda Waze continues in the wake of user-friendly technology started in 2018 with the first city-car in the segment to offer integration with the famous Waze navigation app in the “Panda U-Connect” app. This digital combination – developed by Mopar, the FCA brand that deals with after-sales products and services for the cars of the Group – benefits from a vast array of services included in the price of the car.
Social navigation, Fiat-style connectivity and services by Mopar
The new Panda Waze comes integrated with two one-of-a-kind smartphone apps – Waze and “Panda U-Connect” – which can be used simultaneously. The integration advantageously provides the opportunity to select the most convenient petrol stations or the nearest service centre indicated by Waze easily and quickly when you need to refuel or if the tyre pressure is low, for instance.
Waze is the free navigation app that reports road conditions in real time through an active community of over 115 million users so you can identify the optimal route and save time during the daily commutes.
“Panda U-Connect” is the app that allows you to use your phone as an extension of the car, interacting directly with the display of the device. Housed in the specific stand on the dashboard, you can use the Radio U-Connect Mobile while keeping connected in total safety. An app function can be used to shoot photos and videos on board and save them directly in the gallery of the smartphone ready to be shared with friends Furthermore, the Panda U-Connect app also features the “Find myCar” service, to help remember where the car is parked, “My Car” to check the car’s parameters and allows you to call the Fiat Customer Care directly. Finally, when activated, the “Object Reminder” function reminds the driver not to leave things in the car after getting out.
Finally, Mopar® Connect, the new set of services dedicated to safety and remote vehicle monitoring, including assistance in the event of an accident and vehicle location in case of theft, is also available on demand on the new Panda Waze. Additionally, you can monitor several vehicle functions remotely, such as exceeding a pre-set speed or leaving a defined area on the map, and control door locking and unlocking.
The new Panda Waze accomplishes the real mission of the Fiat model to make the smartest solutions, which simplify and improve life at the wheel, affordable for all.
